Thirty seconds of fear is worth a lifetime of regret or so I heard once, and I think about it more than I probably should. It’s the reason I walked away from a pre-dental track I wasn’t in love with and into a design studio I knew nothing about. That gamble is still paying off.

I just finished my master’s in Information Studies at UT Austin, where I got hooked on the research behind every design choice the quiet work of making something so intuitive people never have to think twice about it. Outside of that, I’m the person cracking open a board game with a rulebook heavier than my laptop, the friend who won’t shut up about a movie for a week straight, and the one booking a flight the second the price looks reasonable.
